Enough is Enough
The political community in our nation has been compromised not just by outsider but also from our own countrymen. “It’s no secret, the system is rigged,” said End Citizens United President and Executive Director Tiffany Muller.
Our politicians have all become nothing more than a commodity. They can be purchased and so many special interest groups have done this. To make matters worse outside intervention has also been able to have their influence as well.
End Citizens United about the organization bringing in $4M, but projected to haul in over $35M
Trump’s victory into office has really made many Democrats feel that their own election and politicians are against them. The system, it would appear, is only there for those who can buy it. Many Democrats feel betrayed at the notion that those who have the most money have the most to say when it comes to the political banter that comes out of Washington.
As a result, the people have united and they have shared their disdain and their displeasure with the current status quo. They are fighting back, not in the streets but with their wallets.
The End Citizens United Pac had received 4 million in its first three months alone and is estimated to reach $35 million by 2018. This is truly significant as the Pac highest amount was $25 million an that was in 2016.
This meteoric rise of donations has really made it crystal clear that the Democrats are ready for the next election and they are showing that they are willing to pay as much as they can to get the system back in order.
This has come as a huge surprise as the average donor rate is now $12. This is truly an amazing experience that is currently taking place at the moment. The people are fed up with Washington and they are demanding that their politicians no longer work for the highest bidder bit work for the people that they sworn to serve.
Despite not being able to receive more than $5,000 for a contributor the Pac is set out to reach an unprecedented amount and this speaks volumes about the nation as a whole.
